FTLO NY opened on Friday 25th April 2014 in The Bottleneck Gallery, 60 Broadway, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY.
FTLO NY showcased over 40 creatives from a range of disciplines. Opening night attracted 150 New Yorkers and visitors from Ireland, Australia, England and elsewhere. A cracking first outing for FTLO on foreign soil. A fantastic bonus was we sold nearly 50% of all the work to patrons from all over the world. Thanks to one and all for being part of FTLO.
Calling All Creatives! NEW FTLO Brief...
New York City, arguably the most exciting, vibrant city in the world. We want creatives to tap into their experiences, thoughts, influences and inspirations based on or coming from the Big Apple and to create a piece/s of work that reflect this. Make work that expresses what you feel/think about The City and what NYC means to you.
For The Love Of (FTLO) celebrates diverse creative excellence from around the world and is offering an opportunity for creatives to submit work with a chance of it being showcased in New York in Spring 2014 in a group exhibition and event.
Work submitted can range from; painting, sculpture, graphic design, print, photography, film, illustration, fashion design, product design, writing, music, sound installation, performance, street-art etc. The pieces can be created collaboratively or individually. See this as an opportunity to make new work but we also accept previous work that has not yet been shown.
